Htmx

Struct Htmx

Source
pub struct Htmx(pub bool);
Expand description

Extractor telling whether htmx sent the request: Htmx(true) when it has HX-Request: true.

Use it to answer with an HTML fragment instead of a full page or a redirect. It never rejects: any other value or a missing header is Htmx(false). Requires the html feature.

§Examples

use axum::response::{Html, IntoResponse, Redirect, Response};
use ocre::Htmx;

async fn like(Htmx(is_htmx): Htmx) -> Response {
    if is_htmx {
        Html("<button disabled>Liked</button>").into_response()
    } else {
        Redirect::to("/").into_response()
    }
}

impl<S: Send + Sync> FromRequestParts<S> for Htmx

Source§

type Rejection = Infallible

If the extractor fails it’ll use this “rejection” type. A rejection is a kind of error that can be converted into a response.

Perform the extraction.
