RequestId

Struct RequestId

Source
pub struct RequestId(pub String);
Expand description

Extractor for an identifier of the request, to correlate log lines and error reports.

Cloudflare’s CF-Ray id (e.g. 8c2f1a0b9d3e4f5a-CDG) when present, which is also shown in the Cloudflare dashboard and in Workers Logs; otherwise the client’s X-Request-Id when it is 1 to 64 letters, digits, - or _ (Loco’s request_id); otherwise 16 random hex characters. Never rejects; no binding call. serve picks it once per request: the same id is in every line of Ctx::log, in error reports and in the X-Request-Id response header.

§Examples

use ocre::RequestId;

async fn checkout(RequestId(id): RequestId) -> &'static str {
    worker::console_log!("[{id}] checkout started");
    "OK"
}

impl<S: Send + Sync> FromRequestParts<S> for RequestId

Source§

type Rejection = Infallible

If the extractor fails it’ll use this “rejection” type. A rejection is a kind of error that can be converted into a response.
Source§

async fn from_request_parts( parts: &mut Parts, _state: &S, ) -> Result<Self, Self::Rejection>

Perform the extraction.
Source§

impl PartialEq for RequestId

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &RequestId) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
